I believe that my mood very easily is communicated through my writing, so when I write, I surround myself with things that bring me joy. A picture of my family, a print of cows reminding me of days on the farm, a sign that says ‘I am silently correcting your grammar,’ that makes me smile. Then, the pen glides effortlessly over paper, and stories flow out.
