CHAMPION

I couldn't do it without my hubby's encouragement and gentle push.

Rod is a champion of all my endeavors, cheering me on at every turn. He has been as pleased as punch with any success of mine, as excited as I when I finally clicked 'send' and my children's book went to the publisher. He endures neglect when I spend hours wrangling to find the right combination of words in a paragraph, but pulls me out of my cave to take a much needed break and makes me coffee. He boosts my strength and confidence in my work, which provides a buffer against negative opinions, which is imperative to moving forward.

He is a true champion and deserves a gold medal.
